Accessibility Statement

Stampora is a store people use to make something personal, often for a child or a family member. It should work the same whether you use a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or a browser you have set up to reduce motion. This page states the target Stampora is working to, what has been built so far, and what has not been checked yet.

The target

Stampora is working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA. That target covers the storefront, the product pages, the checkout and the stamps designer.

Stampora does not currently claim full conformance. The honest position is partial conformance, based on internal testing only. See the section on what has not been done.

What has been done

Semantic markup

Pages are built with real HTML structure rather than styled containers. One h1 per page, headings in order, lists marked up as lists, tables used only for tabular data with proper header cells, and landmark regions for header, navigation, main content and footer. This is what lets a screen reader user skim a page by heading instead of reading every word.

Keyboard operation

Every interactive control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Navigation, filters, product options, finish selection, the upload control, add-ons, quantity, checkout fields and the stamps designer are all in the tab order in a logical sequence. Nothing is mouse-only, and no component traps focus. A skip link at the top of each page jumps past the navigation to the main content.

Visible focus

The focus indicator is never removed. Whatever element you are on has a clear outline that stands away from the background, including on dark sections and on buttons that already have a border. If you cannot tell where you are on the page with a keyboard, that is a bug worth reporting.

Form labelling

Every field has a persistent visible label, not a placeholder standing in for one. Required fields are marked in text as well as in colour. Errors are described in words next to the field they belong to, are announced to assistive technology, and say what to do rather than only that something is wrong. Grouped controls such as finish choice and add-ons use fieldsets with a legend.

Contrast and text

Body text, headings and control labels are checked against the 2.2 AA contrast ratios, and the same check is applied to focus indicators, form borders and icons that carry meaning. Colour is never the only way information is given. Text can be resized to 200 percent and reflowed to a narrow viewport without content being lost or clipped.

Reduced motion in the stamps designer

the stamps designer previews and foil finishes with movement, because a still image cannot show how Cracked Ice , Rainbow Prism or Liquid Metal Foil behave. If your device or browser is set to prefer reduced motion, the designer respects that setting. Shine sweeps, tilt animation and auto-rotating previews are switched off, and you get a static preview with a manual control to step through angles at your own pace. Nothing moves on its own, and no preview flashes.

Images and media

Meaningful images carry text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology so they are not read out. There is no audio that starts on its own.

What has not been done

Stampora has not yet had a third-party accessibility audit. Everything above comes from internal testing by the people who built the site. Internal testing catches a great deal, and it misses things that only an independent auditor or a daily assistive technology user would find. An external review is planned, and this page will be updated with the date, the scope and the findings once it has happened.

Other known limits at the time of writing:

• the stamps designer is a visual tool. A non-visual user can complete an order, choose a finish, add add-ons and check out, but judging a crop without sight is genuinely hard. If you want a person to check your crop and describe it back to you before production, email support and ask. There is no charge for that.
• Some third-party components, including the payment step, are supplied by external providers. Stampora tests them but does not control their code.
• PDF receipts and any downloadable documents have not all been checked for tagging and reading order.
• Automated checking tools are used alongside manual testing. They agree on most things and disagree on some, and where they disagree the manual result is taken.

How Stampora tests

• Keyboard-only passes through the full purchase path, from a product page to order confirmation.
• Screen reader passes on desktop and mobile.
• Zoom and reflow checks at 200 percent and at narrow widths.
• Contrast checks on text, controls, focus indicators and meaningful icons.
• A reduced-motion pass with the operating system preference switched on.

Tell Stampora about a barrier

If something on this site blocks you, report it. A specific report is worth more than a general one, so include the page address, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the browser and assistive technology you were using if you know them.

Email support@stampora.us with the word Accessibility in the subject line. Stampora aims to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to give a plan or a fix date within 10 business days (provisional, pending supplier confirmation).

If you cannot complete an order because of a barrier, say so in the email. A member of the team will take the order details from you directly and confirm every choice back to you in writing before anything goes to production.

Formal enforcement

If you have raised something and you are not satisfied with the response, you can escalate the matter to the accessibility regulator or enforcement body that covers your country. Ask support and you will be pointed to the right route rather than left to search for it.
